I. General regulations
- The following Terms of Service document formulates rules of registration and usage of accounts as a part of hosting services, registration and maintenance of domains and defines type and range of additional, paid options offered by HIT.ng.
- Acceptance of these conditions is obligatory to use any of the services provided by HIT.ng. User, who created an account, automatically confirms his familiarization with our Terms of Service and therefore is obliged to comply with them.
- Acceptance of our Terms of Service is also connected to acceptance of InternetBS Terms and Conditions.
- In case of resignation of the services provided by HIT.ng, User is obliged to immediately delete the domain(s) from the user panel. If the script or administration detects a webpage redirecting to another hosting, the webpage will be deleted.
- HIT.ng reserves the right to change these Terms of Service. Information about changes is published on the forum in the Announcements and News section and the welcome page in the user panel.
II. Range of services and technical restrictions
- HIT.ng is the exclusive owner of every hosting account and name in the HIT.ng subdomain. Sale, rental and lending of account and names is strictly prohibited. HIT.ng, after receiving a notification about violation of this rule, will automatically and permanently block such a user account.
- HIT.ng reserves the right to introduce additional Paid Options, which facilitate the use of the services.
- Hosting service can not be used to:
- build a webpage using external sources (hotlinking is not allowed). HIT.ng allows such a practice for Users with paid hosting plans only.
- host a webpage which may overload the server (online games, botnets and so on).
- host a website for SEO, link farms and similar; links exchange is allowed in proper systems as an additional part of the webpage, but not its main purpose. Websites visited mostly by bots will be deleted.
- automatically redirect to other addresses.
- utilize the account only as a FTP server. There has to be a webpage on the account, the popularity of which can not be significantly lower than for example the number of people downloading content from the FTP server.
- excessively overload the server, e.g. by scripts generating high traffic without coverage in page views.
- mine cryptocurrencies.
- send mass mailing.
- HIT.ng places a special banner on FREE hosting accounts. Moving or blocking it is strictly prohibited. HIT.ng introduced the system allowing Users to buy paid hosting plans.
- On FREE hosting Users' webpages HIT.ng places a special banner with the information about the possibility to purchase a hosting plan for the website. To do that, visitors do not need to have an account on HIT.ng. Users can disable this banner in the user panel, in the domain editing window.
- HIT.ng allows Users to put their own ads on websites.
- HIT.ng allows Users to use their external domains on their hosting accounts. Users have one (1) month to redirect DNS servers to HIT.ng servers, otherwise the domain gets blocked.
- HIT.ng allows Users to buy domains.
- HIT.ng allows Users to buy VPS servers and dedicated servers.
III. User's obligation to comply with the law
- Delivering any illegal content, especially content that is against the law, good manners and principles of social coexistence, is strictly forbidden.
- Delivered contents can not contain pornography, call for violence, call for racial or ethnic hatred, vulgar or offensive words and any other contents, which are against the applicable law.
- Delivered contents can not contain phishing, malware scam and any other contents, which are misleading, harming visitors or stealing data.
- Webpages containing TV streaming services and linking to such websites are also prohibited.
- User is fully liable for any violation of the above points and local or International law. HIT.ng can not be held responsible for hosted contents and information provided by User.
- HIT.ng can not be held responsible towards third parties for contents provided by Users, which are copyright-protected.
- HIT.ng reserves the right to delete any content provided by User, which may be recognized as against the Terms of Service or against the law.
IV. Registration and maintenance of domains
- HIT.ng allows User to register international, regional, functional and some local domains.
- During domain registration, User is obliged to provide valid personal data. In case of registering of some domains (e.g. .uk), User will be asked to provide additional data. Usually it will be a scan of his ID, copy of recent bills and his date of birth. The procedure varies depending on the domain extension. If within 30 days User does not provide all the necessary data, the domain will be blocked. Only adults can register domains.
- In case User has an account on HIT.ng, his data from the user’s profile will be used to register the domain.
- Domain activation occurs within a few minutes from receiving the payment. From this moment User is a legal and physical owner of the domain and can freely manage it.
- Within 30 days of expiration domain can still be renewed by its owner. Additional fee of 12 USD will be added for such renewal.
- Payment for registering or renewal of domains, as a personalized order, is unreturnable.
- In case the domain chosen by User can not be registered, payment will be fully returned. To apply for a refund, User has to send an email to support{at}HIT.ng.
- In case User wants to receive the Authinfo code, he has to send an email to support{at}HIT.ng at least 30 (thirty) days before the domain expiry date. A document to fill can be found here. Filled and signed document should be scanned and sent via email to support{at}HIT.ng. The deadline for considering the request is 14 (fourteen) working days.
- To make a cession of domain User should fill, sign and scan the following form, and send it to email support{at}HIT.ng, with attached two-sided ID or passport scan.
- User's rights and obligations for registering international domains can be found on https://www.icann.org/resources/pages/benefits-2013-09-16-en. Educational materials can be found on https://www.icann.org/resources/pages/educational-2012-02-25-en.
V. Rights and responsibilities of HIT.ng
- HIT.ng reserves the right to:
- delete the account without providing a reason;
- delete or block the account in case of inactivity, minimal period is three months;
- delete or block the account in case of violation of rules of point III of these Terms of Service;
- suspend the services due to maintenance works;
- suspend the services if the account causes overloading and threatens the stability of infrastructure;
- send promo materials regarding HIT.ng after User’s prior consent.
- For Users with paid accounts, points A and B do not apply.
- HIT.ng is not liable for any service malfunction incidents.
- HIT.ng is not liable for loss or damage of any data of Users' websites. HIT.ng advises its Users to make regular data backups.
- By creating an account, User gives consent to process his personal data by HIT.ng for administrative and service purposes.
- User can delete his personal data from the HIT.ng, which is equivalent to deleting the user's profile.
- User can delete his own user's profile in HIT.ng by opening a ticket in the profile to be deleted or by sending a message to the address support@HIT.ng from the profile's email with the proper request. A request sent from an address other than the profile's email will not be considered.
VI. Additional Paid Options provided by HIT.ng
- To improve the quality of service and to allow less onerous usage of them, HIT.ng introduces the possibility to buy additional services, with right of liquidation of such a service at any time. Also HIT.ng reserves the right to introduce new, different types of services in the future.
- Paid hosting services system is based on buying a subscription for the specified period, during which the parameters of the account will be increased.
- HIT.ng also offers a micropayment system, which Users can use to buy (in a single item or a package) additional subdomains, aliases, email accounts, FTP accounts, databases, transfer, disk space and single file size limit removal.
- HIT.ng gives the possibility to buy a VPS server and a dedicated server. After buying this service, time for its activation is up to 48 hours.
- In case User has not paid for a VPS or a dedicated server renewal, his server will be removed after one week from the expiration date.
- HIT.ng reserves the right to remove or block a VPS and a dedicated server in case of violation of points from section III of these Terms of Service. Also VPS and dedicated server service can be suspended if server threatens the infrastructure stability.
- HIT.ng offers Users a possibility to use a SSL certificate for their domains.
- Certificate is free of charge and associated with the domain chosen by User.
- Users pay only for maintenance and service of SSL, including increased server resources usage caused by data encryption.
- Fees regarding SSL certificate do not apply for VIP accounts.
- Certificate can be activated for one year. During this time, the certificate is automatically prolonged every three months.
- All complaints regarding payment system, micropayments, SSL certificates, VPS servers and dedicated servers should be sent to the address: support{at}HIT.ng.
- Every User has a choice of the following payment methods: Paymentwall, Paypal and MINTME.
- When the transfer limit (if applicable) is exceeded or the hosting plan expires, the hosting account is automatically disabled.
- Prices of paid hosting accounts, micropayments, VPS servers and dedicated servers are posted on HIT.ng webpage.
- Hosting account on the FREE plan is valid for one (1) week from date of its registration. After this time User should buy a hosting account plan, otherwise his hosting account will be suspended.
- HIT.ng reserves the right to change the price list, with previous posting of a proper information.
- In case of account lock due to violation of the law or rules from Section III of these Terms of Service, HIT.ng does not refund remaining money for unused service.
- HIT.ng starts providing the service immediately after successful processing of the payment and in case of VPS and dedicated servers User is losing the right to withdraw from the contract after the start of the services. Domain names as a personalised good also are not a subject of the refund. In case of hosting accounts, User has 14 days to withdraw from the contract.
- Maximum disk space for email accounts on the VIP plan is 50 GB. To extend the disk space beyond this limit, User has to pay an additional fee for each 1 GB.
- Maximum disk space on the VIP plan is 100 GB. To extend the disk space beyond this limit, User has to pay an additional fee for each 10 GB.
- Maximum data transfer on the VIP plan is 1200 GB per month.To extend the transfer beyond this limit, User has to pay an additional fee for each 1000 GB.
VII. Payments
- Payments for domains and additional paid options, offered by HIT.ng, can be done only by persons eligible to use the selected service, by which payment is being made. Detected cases of fraud will directly be reported to competent police departments.
- User's personal data is automatically being forwarded to our payment operators: Paymentwall Inc. or PayPal Inc. (with User's prior consent).
- After confirming the transaction form in the Service and choosing a payment method, User is being automatically redirected to a proper payment provider platform: Paymentwall or Paypal, to the corresponding payment provider's WWW platform.
- In order to make a payment, User should proceed through the payment process accordingly to the system instructions.
- Payments for HIT.ng can be done only via operators mentioned in point 2.
- After payment confirmation, bought service becomes active.
- HIT.ng is not liable for any problems caused by delay of any third parties, including banks, post offices, payment operators, etc.

VIII. Complaints
- Users can make complaints regarding cases of malfunction of paid services and additional paid options offered by HIT.ng to email address support{at}HIT.ng.
- HIT.ng is considering complaints within 14 working days from receiving such a request. In complicated cases, requiring thorough verification, this period may be longer.
- Answers to the complaints are being sent to an email address provided by Users during account registration
IX. Privacy policy
By registering an account on our webpage and using Services provided by HIT.ng, User accepts our Privacy Policy provisions, which are available under address: https://HIT.ng/en/privacy-policy
X. Definitions
Terms of Service - the following Terms of Service document is a document in terms of international law.
HIT.ng - ABC Hosting Ltd. company with headquarters in Belize, 7B Neal Pen Road, Belize City. Registry No: 148 538, DUNS: 81-542-7447.
User - a person that uses the hosting Service offered and provided by HIT.ng under the terms formulated by the above Terms of Service document.
Hosting service - a service provided by HIT.ng, based on sharing with Users the specified, separate space on the server to activate the website hosting, email and connected services.
Domain - unique set of characters, containing name and two (or three) letters extension indicating the country or the purpose of the website. It could be both first-level domains (e.g. .com) or the second-level domains (e.g. .co.uk).
Paid Option - additional options introduced by HIT.ng, provided after payment on the clear request of User, described in Section VI of the above Terms of Service document.

Paymentwall - one of the ways to make payments for domains and additional paid options offered by HIT.ng, based on making the payment via internet service operated by Paymentwall Inc., with headquarters in San Francisco, 255 9th Street, according to the Terms of Service available on www.paymentwall.com.
Paypal - one of the ways to make payments for domains and additional paid options offered by HIT.ng, based on making the payment via internet service operated by Paypal Inc., with headquarters in San Jose, California, 2211 North First Street, according to the Terms of Service available on www.paypal.com.
XI. Final regulations
This Terms of Service document is valid from 28.12.2021
In cases not regulated by the above Terms of Service, corresponding law rules apply.
